Senior Silid Aralan, Inc. (SAI) iLead learners, together with SAI co-Founder and Executive Director, Mr. Arcie Mallari and SAI CI-Manager and co-learner, Mrs. Arlene Soncuya, watched the historical movie “Heneral Luna†last September 19, 2015.
“Heneral Luna†is historical biopic film, directed by Jerrold Tarong and produced by the Artikulo Uno Productions. The film portrays the life and leadership of General Antonio Luna (played by John Arcilla) as a Supreme Chief of the Army of the Philippine Revolutionary Army in the First Philippine Republic until his assassination. The film conveys General Luna’s heroism and elite leadership in the army. He shows how every Filipino should love the country to a certain extent that we will be willing to die for it. Silid Aralan supports historic films like Heneral Luna that provides the knowledge for the Philippines’ rich history while evoking the learners’ love for our country.
