iLEAD

iLEAD is the flagship program of Silid Aralan, Inc. Launched in 2012, iLEAD is a leadership program that starts off with character building. It is a 6-year program with two levels:

 

• SAI Junior iLEAD (grades 5-7)

Junior iLEAD learning sessions focus on the Rights of a Child (United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child). Learners are equipped with the knowledge and understanding of their rights and the responsibilities that go hand-in-hand with them. Outputs of the program are their own “My Vision Book” and mini-community projects, among others.

• SAI Senior iLEAD (grades 8-10)

In Senior iLEAD, learners focus on planning, implementing and monitoring their own projects to create an impact on their community. The learners are equipped with leadership skills such as problem solving, risk taking, and team management. They are also taught how to write grant proposals and present business plans.
