RTU and Silid Aralan partner to empower young learners

On October 21, 2024, Silid Aralan and Rizal Technological University (RTU) formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony. This collaboration aims to empower future educators and enhance the learning experience of Silid Aralan learners from Maybunga Elementary School Annex. The MOA signing was led by Dr. Magno M. Quedangan, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services, Instr. Ricardo H. Momongan, Jr., Director of Extension and Community Services Office, and Dr. Wendelyn A. Samarita, Dean of the College of Education from RTU, along with Mr. Arcie Mallari, Founder and Chief Motivation Officer of Silid Aralan, and key representatives from both organizations.

Following the MOA signing, a Co-learner Capacity Building Training was conducted for 70 Bachelor of Education students majoring in English, Math, and Filipino. Led by Julius Nico E. Saturno, Learning and Development Assistant, and Roxanne U. Montances, Head Co-Learner for Rizal and NCR Learning Hubs, the training equipped these future educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to support the online and on-site Silid Aralan learners from Maybunga Elementary School Annex in Pasig City.

This partnership between RTU and Silid Aralan signifies a shared commitment to nurturing the next generation of educators and empowering young learners. By combining strengths and resources, both institutions aim to make a significant impact on education and community development.
