January 2024

The second term of the Learning Year 2024-2025 officially began on January 21, 2025 in various learning hubs, including East City Central School, Laconon Integrated School, Palanog Resettlement Elementary School, Silid Aralan ni Nanay Jen, Maybunga Elementary School Annex, and Montalban Town Center. With the guidance of facilitators, volunteer teachers, and Project-Based Co-Learners, learners are set to explore topics that spark their curiosity and address their needs. This term’s areas of focus are Earth Science and Community, Food Education and Well-Being, Character Development, and Arts and Culture—ensuring a well-rounded and meaningful learning journey.

Beyond classroom learning, learners will work on a prototype community project that they will soon bring to life, benefiting the people around them. This project-based learning experience allows them to apply their knowledge in real-world situations, fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration. With the support of their Co-Learners, they are not just learning, they are also preparing to make a difference. Everyone eagerly anticipates the inspiring ideas and impactful projects emerging from these young changemakers as the term unfolds.
