SAI Ground Zero Parent Orientation

Spearheaded by co-learners, Aries Burgonio and Remie Segui, Silid Aralan, Inc. (SAI) held a conference with the parents of SAI Ground-Zero learners at Kasiglahan Village Elementary School (KVES), last August 2, 2016 (Tuesday).
In Silid Aralan, we believe that it needs the cooperation and support of the entire community to really empower and educate a child. Just like what an African proverb has conveyed: African proverb: It takes a village to raise a child. As part of raising the learners, we conducted seminars with the parents to be able to educate them about Silid Aralan, and what will be their involvement in learning, and their commitment to Silid Aralan as parents. Co-learner, Bonifel Sahagun, gave an opening remarks for the program, and afterwards, parents participated the discussions and parent activities that will help them know meet each other and plan on making the best for their children.
