Silid Aralan Inc. Won the 1st Global Youth For South Solution Awareness Contest

Silid Aralan Inc.’s advocacy to empower young low-performing learners in the Philippines was internationally recognized last November 30, 2017 after winning the first ever Youth4South Solution Awareness Contest initiated by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation. It was announced during the Global South-South Development EXPO 2017 in Antalya, Turkey wherein delegates showcased evidence-based successful development solutions in the region. Our organization was awarded the Solution Awareness Trophy of 5,000 US Dollars which will be used to create a platform for dialogues and knowledge exchange with other organizations in developing countries.
