Silid Aralan was recognized as one of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) last February 22, 2018 in AG New World Hotel, Manila.

TAYO Awards Foundation, Inc., on its 15th year, is the only award giving body that recognizes and supports the outstanding contributions of youth organizations in the country. Out of 183 youth organizations across the country that applied, only 20 finalists were selected to pitch their organization’s mission and projects in the Philippine Senate last February 19, 2018 in front of 17 esteemed judges from various respected institutions such as San Miguel Corporation, Coca-Cola Foundation, Lenovo, National Youth Commission, Jollibee Food Corporation, Teach for the Philippines, Ashoka Philippines and Office of Senator Bam Aquino.

 Silid Aralan was ably represented by our Communications Associate, Angelo Roxas. Silid Aralan also received San Miguel Corporation’s Better World Award as a youth organization that shares the company’s belief that “every single person has a responsibility to serve and role to play in creating a better world.”
