June 2024

Since June 2024, Silid Aralan, Inc. (SAI) has been empowering its Head Co-Learners through a comprehensive development program. This initiative, known as the SAI Head Co-Learners Development Program (SHCLDP), aims to cultivate strong leaders from within the organization and ultimately enhance the services offered to SAI stakeholders.

The program is divided into two distinct phases:

  • Phase One: Instructional Leaders – Equips participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel as instructional leaders within the SAI program.
  • Phase Two: Organizational Leaders – Develops the leadership capabilities of participants on a broader organizational level.

The program kicked off in June with a series of foundational modules designed to equip Head Co-Learners with a thorough understanding of their roles and the SAI programs. These modules covered:

  • Cultivating Effective SAI Leaders from Within: This module focuses on the core principles and qualities that define successful leaders within the SAI program.
  • Understanding the SAI Learners: Gaining a deeper understanding of the learners’ needs and perspectives is crucial for effective leadership. This module delves into the learner experience within SAI.
  • Understanding the SAI Co-Learners: Fostering collaboration and teamwork is essential. This module explores the roles and responsibilities of Co-Learners within the SAI program.
  • The Silid Aralan 21st Century Learning Hub: This module provides insights into the vision and philosophy behind the 21st Century Learning Hub concept.
  • The Silid Aralan Learning Technology for Education (SALTEd) Framework: Understanding the SALTEd framework equips leaders with the knowledge to leverage technology effectively in education.

As part of the continuous development, participants will be given additional modules that further refine their leadership skills and prepare them to excel in their roles.
