Inside the Silid Aralan

Mel Angelo Emmanuel B. Ortiola, Head Co-Learner

All nine Silid Aralan learning hubs got their learning sessions going despite the cancellation of classes due to weather-related reasons. During the previous learning sessions, the Ground Zero learners studied earth science and their communities, food education and wellbeing, character development, and arts and culture. Meanwhile, the Sr. iLEAD learners focused on learning about Sustainable Development Goal 6 which encompasses Clean Water and Sanitation. At the moment, the Sr. iLEAD learners are developing projects that aim to help people who do not have steady access to affordable and potable water, sanitation, and hygiene.

The learning sessions are packed with different and interesting activities to make learning more fun and engaging for the learners. The First Term of the learning year is targeted to close in December, with project presentation as the learners’ final activity.
