A day of celebration and thanksgiving

One of the most valuable pillars in Silid Aralan’s mission is partnerships. The support of individuals and organizations greatly enables Silid Aralan to continue empowering and educating non-grade-level-ready learners across the nation, contributing to a child’s future and to nation-building. Truly, collaboration makes endeavors even more possible and takes them to higher grounds.

As Silid Aralan’s way of recognizing all its partners and thanking them for their transformative and impactful contributions, it specially held a Partners’ Appreciation Day on April 11, 2025 at Relish Hello Happiness in Quezon City, Philippines. The celebration was attended by Silid Aralan’s Board of Trustees, employees, selected parents and learners, and partners in LY 2024-2025. The organizing committee prepared games and activities that would not only make the celebration fun and enjoyable but also allow all the participants to get to know one another.

During the event, the Founder and Chief Motivation Officer of Silid Aralan, Mr. Arcie G. Mallari, provided the partners with the highlights of LY 2024-2025 and introduced an upcoming program called the Silid Read to Lead. Mr. Orlando Pascua, the Principal of San Nicolas Elementary School in Ilocos Norte also graced the event and shared their school’s experience as the pilot school for the Silid Read to Lead Program. Moreover, the partners were able to hear stories of transformation from Ground Zero learners Ciana, Hannah and Jezza, and from Sr. iLead learner Vhenice.

The successes of Silid Aralan in LY 2024-2025 were achieved because of the support of all the stakeholders. Silid Aralan would like to congratulate all stakeholders for a year of impact and transformation. Cheers to more years of partnership and collaboration!
