The first week of September officially launched the learning sessions of Silid Aralan Inc. From Luzon, Visayas and down to Mindanao, the respective volunteers of each learning hub met with the SAI learners, new and old alike, in an online and face to face experience.

Last September 27, 2022, SAI visited Cottolengo Filipino Inc. to personally deliver its donations (toiletries and snacks) for the beneficiaries and staff of the said organization. SAI is inspired by the work that Cottolengo Filipino Inc. does for children with special needs. SAI honors the organization for helping these children live a normal life. SAI thanks Ms. Vonn and the entire Cottolengo Filipino, Inc. family for allowing SAI to visit and meet them in person.

The Orientation of School Coordinators of Silid Aralan Inc. took place last July 21-23, 2022. The participants were the organization’s Head Co-Learner together with the School Coordinators of the follow Learning Hubs: Tisa II Elementary School, Nangka Elementary School, Dulong Bayan Elementary School, Kasiglahan Village Elementary School, San Isidro Labrador Elementary School, East City Central Elementary School, Laconon Integrated School, and Pagudpud Central Elementary School. The said orientation was divided in three days to adjust for the availability of our respective participants.

SAI held the 75 Under 75 Batch 2 Virtual Awards Night on July 7, 2022 via Facebook Live. The 75 Under 75 is a nationwide search for 75 students with grades under 75. Through it, SAI gives spotlight to the most academically-challenged public school students across the Philippines. This year, the project received over 400 nominations from various participating schools. During the Awards Night, a new set of 75 learners were recognized and welcomed to the Silid Aralan family.

Last June 20-22, 2022, the Learning Management Team underwent a Co-Learner Empowerment Training which was held at the SAI Central Learning Hub in Rizal. The said training was facilitated by the OIC-LMT Manager, Jeneveb M. Saltat, and was attended by the Head Co-Learners namely Justin L. Cabana, Roxanne Montances & Kath Dame Dela Rosa.

To empower the learners, Coles should first empower themselves. This training reignited the passion in each of the Coles that will drive them this LY 2022-2023. This training also gave them the opportunity to talk about their activities for the new year. The LMT hopes to have a successful, meaningful & productive learning year ahead.
