Silid Aralan celebrated the Year-End Parties between December 2-13, 2023 in different learning hubs with the theme “Emotions in Color.” The learners dressed up in their favorite color from head to toe. To make the party even more special, Silid Aralan prepared games, gifts, dance presentations, and delicious food and drinks for all the learners. The parties started with an opening prayer that was led by a learner and proceeded to the different kinds of games where learners can play and compete with one another with enjoyment.

As most of us believe in and agree with, “education is a lifelong process.” Before 2023 ended, Silid Aralan conducted a training on December 19, 2023 on Microsoft Office Utilization. It was facilitated by Ms. Michelle Reyes Angeles via a hybrid type of training where four participants joined in person and one participant joined virtually. It was truly a fruitful and fun learning experience, ending the year with a learning that each participant can carry with them in the new year.

Silid Aralan made waves last December with the launch of its captivating doodle art merchandise. The initiative aimed to celebrate the creativity of our learners by transforming their remarkable doodle creations into tangible items such as T-shirts, tote bags, and mugs.

A workshop on Basic Business Writing was held last November 21, 2023 for the SAI staff. A total of six staff attended in person at the Central Learning Hub white two staff joined virtually. The workshop was conducted to further develop the SAI staff’s business writing skills so they can become better communicators and can provide better services to the customers they serve. The training was facilitated by Ms. Kristine Amoranto, a consultant.

Silid Aralan, Inc. conducted a Community Helper Visit on November 25, 2023 at Kasiglahan Village Elementary School and Dulong Bayan Elementary School.

Two consecutive weeks of Transformation Talks mean two empowering discussions from two awesome speakers. Mr. Masaki Mitsuhashi and Mr. Mark Christian Evangelista generously shared their knowledge about innovation and persons with special needs, enabling the learners to know more about both topics and use the knowledge earned to create an effective and impactful project for learners with special needs.
