I would like to affirm how the Palanog Resettlement Elementary School (PRES) deals with the challenges they are facing. They don’t let the pressure of uncertainties overwhelm them, instead they are using this pressure to prepare themselves so that they can face everything wholeheartedly. They even prepared a program for the Memorandum of Agreement Signing that can be done inside the office. One thing came into my mind when I thought of PRES, the teachers and their administrators are so passionate in helping their learners. They might be worrying about themselves and the challenges ahead, but they are definitely more concerned about their students than themselves.

We conducted a two-day training for Nanay Jen to empower her and collaborate with her as we prepare for Learning Year 2023-2024. Nanay Jen inspires her students to continue learning amidst their life situation by being an example herself.

SAI has started preparing for LY 2023-2024 and the preparation includes the refurbishing of the learning hubs. The team is working on fixing broken cabinets, painting walls, replacing flooring with new linoleum, and ensuring cleanliness.

I traveled to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte on August 24 to 26, 2023 to visit the Pagudpud Central Elementary School Learning Hub and to orient the new Principal about Silid Aralan and the new Ground Zero program that the organization is going to implement this learning year.

the SAI Team attended a special learning session about Presentation Skills to learn how to effectively and confidently deliver a presentation to an audience. The learning session was wonderfully facilitated by Ms. Paz Resurreccion Alip through a hybrid approach where some participants joined in person while others joined virtually. All in-person participants were gathered in the Central Learning Hub of SAI at Montalban, Rizal and all virtual participants gathered on Zoom.

July 18, 2023 was the first day of the Learning Management Team training. The training was conducted in preparation for Learning Year 2023 – 2024. All of the Head Co-learners (Kuya Mel, yours truly, and Ate Rox) together with the LMT Head (Kuya Gelo) felt the nervousness and excitement.
