(SAI) and Y&#038;R Philippines won at the recently concluded Asia Pacific (APAC) Effie 2016 last April 21, 2016 (Thursday).<br \/>\nLast year, in celebration of Silid Aralan\u2019s eighth year of empowering children, we conducted the TURD Talks, where the advocacy and history of Silid Aralan and the three different stories of transformation of Silid Aralan learners were shared. TURD Talks wouldn\u2019t have been possible without the creative team of Y&#038;R Philippines. Their team planned and created the promotion of TURD Talks and<br \/>\nAPAC Effie awards aims to recognize how vital effective marketing is in the success of a campaign or an advocacy. This year, the participants came from nineteen countries, and one of those that represented the Philippines was Y&#038;R and Silid Aralan\u2019s TURD Talks. One-hundred-thirty world-class judges have assessed the participants of 2016\u2019s APAC Effie Awards, and TURD Talks became one of the finalists \u2013the only representative from the Philippines, of the said event.<br \/>\nAnd on the awards night held at the Intercontinental Singapore, Y&#038;R Philippines and Silid Aralan won SILVER!<br \/>\nSilid Aralan Founder and Executive Director, Mr. Arcie Mallari and representatives of Y&#038;R Philippines received the APAC Effie silver trophy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Silid Aralan Inc.
