The enlistment of learners is the first step for the Silid Aralan learning session. Because the coronavirus pandemic prevented SAI from doing house visits, it engaged the parents who have access to the internet to enlist their child through a google form and those who do not have such access were called and texted.<\/p>\n

The first week of the enlistment was smooth sailing because the parents were excited to enlist their child in Silid Aralan LY 2021-2022. However, the last week of the enlistment period\u00a0 <\/span>was the hardest because SAI aimed to enlist a total of 100 learners for each learning hub from the previous year’s 80, so the organization needed an additional of 20 more learners per learning hub. To make this happen, the Learning Management\u00a0 <\/span>Team\u00a0 <\/span>(LMT) contacted the school coordinators, teachers, and parents to ask for their assistance.<\/p>\n

On July 21, a total of 658 learners for the 9 learning hubs were successfully enlisted. From this number, 100 learners each are enlisted for the 6 learning hubs namely Pagudpud Central Elementary School (PCES), Nangka Elementary School (NES), Kasiglahan Village Elementary School (KVES), Dulong Bayan Elementary School (DBES), Tisa II Elementary School (TES) and East City Central School (ECCS). There are also 35 learners enlisted for San Isidro Labrador Elementary School (SILES), 12 for Montalban Town Center Hub (MTC), and 8 for Laconon Integrated School (LIS). The total number already includes the learners from the 75 Under 75 project. The 658 total is composed of 445 Ground Zero learners and 213 iLEAD learners.<\/p>\n

Aside from the enlistment, the LMT also prepared for the Learning Resource Material (LRM) which is one of the crucial parts of the Pre-Implementation Phase of the SIlid Aralan Programs. The canvassing for materials, the repacking of the Learning Activity Books (LABs), and the delivery of the\u00a0 <\/span>LRMs to the hubs in North Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao were all facilitated by Jansel Escanillas, a member of the Administrative Services Team and Business Development Team. Last July 22,\u00a0 <\/span>the delivery of the LRMs to PCES, TES, ECCS and LIS were successfully transacted and the packages were received before the end of July.
