As the learning year ended, 2,147 learners across all Silid Aralan Learning Hubs came together to mark a year filled with effort, challenges, learnings, and growth. The Culminating Activity wasn’t just a celebration — it was a reminder of how far each learner had come. Many began the year uncertain, discouraged, or struggling to keep up. But through steady support, encouragement, and consistent effort — both from within and from the people around them — they moved forward. With the guidance of our Head Co-Learners and Volunteer Co-Learners, School Coordinators, and Parent Leaders, each learner had someone who believed in their ability to succeed. That made all the difference.

As Silid Aralan’s way of recognizing all its partners and thanking them for their transformative and impactful contributions, it specially held a Partners’ Appreciation Day on April 11, 2025 at Relish Hello Happiness in Quezon City, Philippines. The celebration was attended by Silid Aralan’s Board of Trustees, employees, selected parents and learners, and partners in LY 2024-2025. The organizing committee prepared games and activities that would not only make the celebration fun and enjoyable but also allow all the participants to get to know one another.

The project at Brgy. Bonbon was attended by the Cagayan de Oro-based Silid Aralan staff and their families, and select Silid Aralan parents (or representatives). Meanwhile, the project at Talisayan, Misamis Oriental was attended by the Cagayan de Oro-based Silid Aralan staff and their families, and representatives from the Municipality of Talisayan. These projects were a testament to the value of togetherness and the commitment to make impactful actions that support the greater good.

On March 23, 2025, Silid Aralan participated in the 21st National Youth Congress (NYC 21) held at the University of the Philippines – Diliman Statistics Building. Represented by Czar Valen T. Reyes, Julius Nico E. Saturno, and MJ Angeles—who volunteered specifically to attend NYC 21—set up their booth to engage with students from various schools across the country.

On February 22, 2025, a heartwarming and meaningful milestone was achieved with the Silid Aralan Volunteer Co-Learners Online Orientation. This event brought together 17 students and 5 faculty members from Rizal Technological University, all eager to embark on a journey that would change lives. Facilitated by the passionate team of Silid Aralan Head Co-Learners, the orientation provided an in-depth look into the organization’s impactful programs, igniting a shared sense of purpose among the volunteers as they prepared to support learners through the power of online sessions.
