The 16th Anniversary Celebration and Partners’ Appreciation Night last April 14, 2023 was held to celebrate SAI’s 16th birthday and to recognize and thank all our partners in learning year 2022-2023 for their support and generosity.

Silid Aralan and volunteers from various learning hubs celebrated their Culminating Activity for the 2nd term of Learning Year 2022-2023.

Last April 1, 2023, Silid Aralan conducted a Culminating Activity for the Learning Year 2022-2023 across all learning hubs. We celebrated this special activity with the theme “Reach for the Stars.”

Last March 18, 2023 at Nangka Elementary School (NES), passion motivators from First Focus, a managed service provider, visited 154 Silid Aralan learners from the NES learning hub.

As the organization passionately strives to empower low-performing learners and help them discover their purpose, it also seeks to continuously grow and develop itself in order to provide better programs and services to the learners and all stakeholders. This learning year, SAI is embarking on a new journey with Nangka Elementary School to explore a new approach to the SAI’s Ground Zero project.

Last February 27, 2023, SAI and Nangka Elementary School formally launched the new Ground Zero Project at the Nangka Elementary School covered court. The new Ground Zero project aims to equip learners with the essential competencies in order to become grade-level ready. During the launching, Mr. Arcie Mallari, Chief Motivation Officer of SAI, and Mr. Wilfredo Padua, Principal of Nangka Elementary School, signed the Deed of the Donation for the items provided by SAI for the implementation of the project. The volunteer teachers, SAI staff, project beneficiaries and their parents were all there to witness the event.

SAI hopes that through this collaboration, a greater positive impact in the school community can be achieved and more learners will benefit from the project.

Silid Aralan Inc. prompted the second half of the learning year with a successful distribution of health kits and learning kits in February. The necessary items were released through the designated Head Co-Learners per Learning Hub all over the Philippines, alongside the Parent Leaders participating actively from recounting, rechecking to regrouping per number of learners. The School Coordinators and Principals were present to receive them.

Within the span of two days, the learners were able to receive their respective share of kits, and pictures were taken for documentation purposes as permitted by both parties. Through this yearly tradition of giving, as it is always a priority of SAI to put the learners’ needs first, the mission of empowering them to love learning has been, for a start, fulfilled.
