On October 19, 2024, Silid Aralan, Inc. successfully organized a food distribution activity at its Central Learning Hub, providing support to 26 learners from Dulong Bayan Elementary School, San Isidro Labrador Elementary School, and the Central Learning Hub. This initiative aimed to alleviate the challenges faced by these learners and their families, especially those affected by the recent typhoons.

On October 21, 2024, Silid Aralan and Rizal Technological University (RTU) formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony. This collaboration aims to empower future educators and enhance the learning experience of Silid Aralan learners from Maybunga Elementary School Annex. The MOA signing was led by Dr. Magno M. Quedangan, Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension Services, Instr. Ricardo H. Momongan, Jr., Director of Extension and Community Services Office, and Dr. Wendelyn A. Samarita, Dean of the College of Education from RTU, along with Mr. Arcie Mallari, Founder and Chief Motivation Officer of Silid Aralan, and key representatives from both organizations.

Silid Aralan recently conducted a Zumba session for East City Central School (ECCS) in Cagayan de Oro City in celebration of the National Teachers’ Month 2024. The project aims to provide our dear educators with an avenue to unwind and to promote the importance of physical activities in one’s health and well-being. The activity was held last September 20, 2024 at the ECCS Covered Court. It was participated by the teachers and staff of the school who filled the covered court with so much energy and enthusiasm.

Silid Aralan’s Training Team recently conducted a series of comprehensive training and orientations for Co-Learners from Laconon Integrated School (LIS) and Colegio de Montalban (CDM). These sessions took place on September 16, 2024 for LIS and September 18 to19, 2024 for CDM. The dedicated Co-Learners from LIS included teachers who will be leading the Ground Zero and Jr. iLEAD programs.

On September 19, 2024, Silid Aralan, Inc. (SAI) held a successful CSR activity to assist learners from the Central Learning Hub (CLH) affected by Typhoon Enteng. The initiative provided essential relief goods to 14 affected learners and their families. Each learner received a package containing food items, cleaning supplies, and hygiene kits to help with their immediate needs. The distribution took place at the Central Learning Hub.

Last August 31, 2024 Kuya Nico Saturno led the Parents’ Orientation for the 125 parents from Silid Aralan’s learning hub in Palanog Resettlement Elementary School (PRES) to introduce to them Silid Aralan, the organization’s goals and the potential impact of SAI in the lives of their children as they take part in a new learning journey with us.
