Silid Aralan contributes to environmental conservation and sustainability through this year’s community service projects

Continuing its goal of providing support to the community through a Community Service Project, Silid Aralan conducted a Mangrove Planting and Coastal Clean-Up Project at Barangay Bonbon in Cagayan de Oro City on March 23, 2025 and a Mangrove Planting Activity at Talisayan, Misamis Oriental on March 31, 2025. These projects aim to take part in conservation and sustainability efforts for the environment. A total of 150 mangrove seedlings were planted.

The project at Brgy. Bonbon was attended by the Cagayan de Oro-based Silid Aralan staff and their families, and select Silid Aralan parents (or representatives). Meanwhile, the project at Talisayan, Misamis Oriental was attended by the Cagayan de Oro-based Silid Aralan staff and their families, and representatives from the Municipality of Talisayan. These projects were a testament to the value of togetherness and the commitment to make impactful actions that support the greater good.

Silid Aralan wishes to thank everyone who took part in these initiatives – the Cagayan de Oro-based staff and their families, the parents and family members of the learners, Barangay Bonbon in Cagayan de Oro City, the Municipality of Talisayan, Misamis Oriental, and the Administrative Services Team of Silid Aralan. The efforts of everyone involved have greatly contributed to the successful implementation of these two invaluable initiatives. It is Silid Aralan’s hope that everyone continues to seek ways to protect the environment and to make the world a more sustainable and healthier place for the present communities and the future generations.
