Embracing its core value of “Passion for Learning,” Silid Aralan, Inc. (SAI) recently strengthened its commitment to impactful education by participating in the “Bayani Learning Series: Measuring Social Impact” workshop. Held on May 31, 2025, and hosted by iVolunteer Philippines, the five-hour intensive session equipped SAI’s Founder and Chief Motivation Officer, Arcie G. Mallari, and Head Co-Learner, Nico E. Saturno, with advanced tools to assess and amplify their programs’ reach. The workshop, part of iVolunteer Philippines’ series for its partner organizations, talks about the crucial aspects of social impact measurement. Participants gained a clearer understanding of how to define, track, and ultimately magnify the effects of their initiatives. A key takeaway was the application of the “theory of change” – a powerful framework for meticulously planning and aligning inputs, activities, outputs, and outcomes to achieve desired impact.
As an organization dedicated to lifelong learning, every opportunity to grow and refine the organization’s approach is invaluable. The insights gained from this workshop will undoubtedly enhance the ability to create meaningful and lasting change in the lives of SAI staff, co-learners, and communities. Silid Aralan, Inc.’s participation underscores its unwavering dedication to continuous improvement and its proactive pursuit of knowledge that translates into tangible benefits for its stakeholders. This workshop reinforces SAI’s belief that education is indeed a lifelong journey, and every step taken to deepen understanding leads to greater impact.
