SILID ARALAN PARTICIPATES IN BRIGADA ESKWELA 2025

The Department of Education kicked off its Brigada Eskwela program on June 9 to 13, 2025 in preparation for the 2025-2026 school year. The theme, “Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa”, highlights the call for community involvement in getting public schools ready. Silid Aralan enthusiastically joined this yearly initiative, sending teams to help prepare classrooms at two of our local learning hubs in Rizal.

Our dedicated volunteers, including Julius Nico Saturno and Roxanne Montances, participated in the Brigada Eskwela at Patiis Elementary School on June 10, 2025, and Wawa Elementary School on June 13, 2025. At Patiis Elementary School, our school coordinator, Ma’am Ruby Mae Delmonte, introduced our team to their teachers and staff. At Wawa Elementary School, Ma’am Nova Mendoza Florencio, the officer-in-charge of the school, welcomed us and introduced our team to their teachers and staff. We spent our time cleaning and organizing classrooms, making sure everything was welcoming and ready for students to return.

Beyond our volunteer efforts, Silid Aralan also made a tangible contribution by donating learning resource materials and snacks to both schools. Our involvement in Brigada Eskwela really showed the spirit of bayanihan – community cooperation – and strengthened the partnership between public schools and non-governmental organizations like ours. These joint efforts are crucial for improving our public education system and creating a supportive environment for everyone at Patiis Elementary School and Wawa Elementary School.
